Emergencies

We are available for most after-hours emergencies.  Just call regular hospital phone numbers 352.489.2074 or 888.843.8387(888 THE-VETS) and the on-call representitive will be notified by pager and return your call promptly. 

It is very important to follow the instructions given on the message...we are often surprised and alarmed that clients fail to leave their phone numbers and we therefore have no way to return their call for help. 

Please be aware that there are occasional time periods when the doctor on-call is temporarily unavailable... you are always provided with a back up number for emergency care if this is the case.
